MYCO GROW KIT TUTORIAL

Growing your Myco Kit is simple and beginner-friendly. Each kit comes pre-prepared and ready to go, so you can focus on the process, not the setup. With the right environment and a few key steps, you’ll go from start to harvest faster than you think.

  • STEP 1

    INJECT

    Begin by injecting your grow bag with the included liquid culture or spore solution through the self-healing injection port.

    1. Wash your hands thoroughly.
    2. Wipe the injection port with an alcohol pad.
    3. Shake your syringe gently to mix.
    4. Insert the needle into the port and inject the recommended amount.
    5. Remove the needle and properly dispose.

    Keep the bag in a clean, room-temperature environment (around 70–75°F) and avoid direct sunlight.

  • STEP 2

    SHAKE

    Once you see white growth spreading inside the bag (about 20–30% colonized), it’s time to gently shake.

    1. Make sure your hands are clean.
    2. Gently break up the white colonized areas inside the bag.
    3. Shake and mix the contents evenly.

    After shaking, place the bag back in a clean, room-temperature space and allow it to fully colonize before moving to the next step.

    STEP 3

    HARVEST

    Once your bag is fully colonized and you see healthy growth forming, it’s time to harvest.

    1. Allow the growth to fully develop.
    2. When ready, gently twist and pull from the base.
    3. Avoid damaging the surrounding area.

    Harvest at peak maturity for the best results.

    After harvesting, you may be able to get additional flushes by maintaining proper humidity and care.

Growing your gourmet mushrooms like Lion’s Mane is simple with the right setup. This kit is designed to support healthy, consistent growth, giving you the ability to produce fresh, high-quality mushrooms right at home.

  • STEP 1

    3. Shake your syringe gently to mix.

    Keep the bag in a clean, room-temperature environment (around 70–75°F) and avoid direct sunlight.

    SHAKE & CUT

    1. At ~30% colonization, break up and shake the bag to distribute growth evenly
    2. Place the bag back in a clean, room-temperature space and allow it to continue colonizing
    3. At ~90% colonization (mostly white and firm), cut a small “X” on the side of the bag
    4. Move to indirect light with fresh air
    5. Lightly mist 1–3 times daily, keeping the surface moist, not soaked
