Content Guidelines
As a MushroomsOK ambassador, you have the opportunity to help people understand the potential benefits of mushrooms through real, honest content. We encourage you to speak from experience, but also ask that you keep messaging aligned with our standards:
What to Share
Personal experiences with how mushrooms have impacted your mood, focus, or overall well-being
Educational content about gourmet, medicinal, and research strains
High-quality photos or videos that clearly show your grow setup or results
Honest discussion around topics like mental clarity, emotional balance, or purpose — as long as it’s from your own perspective
Mentions of Psilocybin research are okay, but should be linked to studies or framed as “early science” or “emerging therapy”
What to Avoid
Making statements that imply diagnosis or prescription, like “Mushrooms cure depression” or “This replaces therapy”
Promoting or documenting the illegal cultivation of active mushrooms
Using slang or recreational language (e.g., “tripping,” “shrooms,” “getting lit”)
Sharing content that’s unsafe, unsanitary, or misleading
You’re free to say that mushrooms have changed your life. You’re even encouraged to. Just speak from your own experience, not as a doctor. Your voice matters, and by following these guidelines, you’re helping build a culture that’s both inspiring and responsible.
